Doug MacFarland, Executive Chef of Ramekins oversees all culinary operations for the cooking school, catering and event center. A passionate advocate for a “seed to table” approach to cooking, he also manages 5th Street Farms, Ramekins’ own organic farm. Prior to joining Ramekins, Doug served as a chef at El Dorado Kitchen in Sonoma’s historic downtown plaza where he first experienced the bounty of Sonoma and what this part of the wine country has to offer. Before moving his family to Sonoma, Doug cooked in the kitchens of notable restaurants in Southern California, the Pacific Northwest and Southwest
