Luxury boutique hotel expands and upgrades rooms and amenities

The Olea Hotel, located on Warm Springs Road in Glen Ellen, California in the heart of Wine Country, reopens Tuesday, August 28, following the October 2017 Northern California wildfires.

The fires burned two guest cottages, adjacent garden and hot tub, firepit area, perimeter fencing and landscaping. Three primary buildings were saved, and there was minimal smoke damage to the lobby and guest rooms. Along with cleaning the entire property, upgrades include a pool and new hot tub, new landscaping and interior upgrades to the entire facility. Olea hotel reopens with 13 rooms, with the final two cottages to be completed in the spring. Inspired Spaces of Santa Rosa, CA, has handled the interior design of the property and Applied Building Solutions of Guerneville has handled the construction management.

“We are very excited and eager to welcome guests again,” said Sia Patel, co-owner of Olea Hotel. “We have completely remodeled the property including all guest rooms and common areas. We also took this opportunity to add a new pool and hot tub area. All outdoor areas have brand new landscaping, fencing, furniture, and more. The property is looking great and the rooms are stunning.”

Olea’s signature offering is its breakfast (included in the price.) With a distinctive menu designed by Executive Chef Khambay Porterkhamsy, which changes daily and seasonally, Olea Hotel's complimentary breakfast includes a two-course plated breakfast mixing sweet and savory items, along with a delightful breakfast buffet. The new menu includes items such as a warm beignet with cardamom sugar and peach compote, fraiche waffles with cultured butter, warm apples and maple syrup, and poached egg on bacon, corn, pepper, zucchini ragout with avocado garlic aioli and smoked tomato vinaigrette.

"The Inspired Spaces design team is thrilled with the new look we have created for Olea Hotel,” says Inspired Spaces' principal designer, Natasha Stocker. “This was a wonderful opportunity for the hotel to reinvent itself and we can’t wait for guests to enjoy the restyled guest rooms. The property has a fresh mid-century modern luxe vibe with plenty of instagrammable moments.”

Room rates on reopening are $200–$475 per night. To make reservations, visit www.oleahotel.com.
