Learn about functional and decorative stitchery!

Boro is a Japanese word used for repeatedly stitched patches, translated it means "rags". The results are sumptuous textiles passed down generations which are now highly collectable and sought after.

In this class, participants will be inspired by Boro stitching, learn the vocabulary and language of these textiles and incorporate into your own project. Participants may choose to complete a small book sampler.

Experience is not necessary, all are welcome!
