October 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the Emmy-nominated Peanuts animated special, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. To honor this occasion, the Charles M. Schulz Museum is displaying a small exhibition, Celebrating 50 Years! It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, which will run Thursday, October 6 through late November.
This exhibition includes rare original animation cels and reproductions of storyboard sections from the special, and offers fun photo ops with Linus in the pumpkin patch.
Throughout the month of October the Museum will also be showing the beloved animated special It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown three times a day on the Museum’s big screen in the Theater. Viewing times are 10:15 am (on the weekends), 1:45 pm (daily), and 3:15 pm (daily)
