It’s a Race for Survival

And the world’s fastest land animal, the sleek and long-legged cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus), is in danger of losing it. Once common on five continents, the charismatic cheetah has disappeared from all but two, and has since become an endangered Species.

To most of the world, the amazing cheetah is an animal we know only from a distance. To Dr. Laurie Marker, they’re close friends and partners she works on a daily basis. Yet, in spite of being the fastest creatures on earth, even cheetahs cannot out run extinction.

Join us at Safari West to hear Dr. Marker deliver a presentation about these incredible animals and her fascinating work with them. Few people work more closely with this world-famous species than Dr. Marker. Reserve today and take this opportunity to come face-to-face with a true conservation hero.
