Instructor: Lori Goldman

Lori is a textile artist based in California. She has received a BA in textiles and MA in sculpture from San Francisco State University and has been teaching courses ranging from spinning yarn to knitted sculpture for over 30 years at CAA, AAU, and numerous Bay Area stores and private workshops. She has designed and sold sweaters for 3 sweater companies around the country.

Her inspiration comes from the body, organic forms in nature, birth, and life cycles. She has continued to be fascinated by fiber and ancient non-loom ways of creating a "fabric" - such as felt making, knot-less netting, coiling, sewing and, of course, knitting and crocheting.
