Johns, Rauschenberg and the Aesthetic of Indifference
Curated by Louise Siddons, this exhibit explores the transitional moment between Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. This exhibit focuses on the work of Johns and Rauschenberg while placing them in the wider context of Abstract Expressionists (with works by Frankenthaler, Francis, Motherwell) and Pop artists (D’Arcangelo, Thiebaud, Ruscha).
