SustainaMania: Ditching The Thirsty Lawn, at Cornerstone Sonoma

From Saturday, September 20 2008
To Sunday, September 21 2008
10:00am-5:00pm
Every day

Presented by Cornerstone Sonoma & The Garden Conservancy

Water intensive gardens and thirsty lawns are hard on local ecology and pocketbooks. Join leading nurserymen, horticulturalists and garden designers as they engage visitors in the challenge of creating beautiful, eco-friendly landscapes that work in harmony with the soils and climates of Northern California, eliminating the need for extensive watering. Attend lectures, explore the event nursery and purchase plants specifically selected to thrive in our region and view established examples of many of the practices being discussed. All lectures and events will take place on the Cornerstone Sonoma campus at the southern tip of the Sonoma Valley on Highway 121.

Plant Sale Participants: Greenlee Nursery • Digging Dog Nursery • Geraniaceae • The Dry Garden

Please visit the website www.sustainamania.com for a complete list of lecture topics.

Location: Cornerstone Sonoma, 23570 Arnold Dr (Hwy 121), Sonoma CA 95476
