35 rare etchings by Harmensz van Rijn Rembrandt. Selected from the John Villarino Collection, the pieces were executed between 1629 and 1654, and well known for their richness and beauty. Rembrandt is widely adorned as the greatest practitioner of the etching technique in the history of art, with highly regarded pieces that come from his originality and imagination. The etchings depict his boldness as an artist in light and shade, thoroughness, and intense humanity and sympathy towards his subjects. The exhibition is organized by Landau Traveling Exhibitions of Los Angeles, CA. The members' opening is scheduled for April 16th. A not to be missed exhibit!
