Catalan Festival at Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards

From Saturday, July 18 2009
To Sunday, July 19 2009
Every day

The festival is all about good food, wine and fun, of course, with a Catalan accent.

Spain used to be a cluster of different kingdoms— Aragon and Catalonia, Valencia, Castilla—each with its own language, culture, heritage and royal family. Eventually, by marriage or conquest, it all became one country. In the northeast of Spain, Catalonia has kind of an urban, yet Mediterranean feel to it. A lot of artists and entrepreneurs come from there as opposed to other regions that are more agricultural. Barcelona, Catalonia's enchanted city, is often referred to as Paris with palm trees.

Whether you're coming for the first time or to relive happy memories, you'll find plenty to do at the festival.
