Guests will enjoy a tasting of Arrowood’s newest releases: the 2008 La Rose, Sonoma Valley — which is always released on Valentine’s Day — along with the 2007 Cote de Lune Blanc, Saralee’s Vineyard and 2004 Syrah, Saralee’s Vineyard. The wines will be paired with small bites. Visitors can also cozy up to Arrowood’s warm fire, view oil and encaustic artwork created by local artist Jocelyn Audette, and take in a breathtaking vista of Sonoma Valley.
Admission to the open house is $10, or complimentary for First in Line Wine Club Members. One hundred percent of all tasting fees collected during this weekend will be donated to the Wheelchair Foundation. For each $75 that is raised, a wheelchair worth more than $400 will be purchased for someone in need.
Arrowood is one of several local wineries raising funds for the Wheelchair Foundation through a supporting-fund program organized by Lookout Ridge Winery.
