Wine & Food Class: Food & Wines of Maverick at Ramekins

Thursday, June 18 2009, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Ramekins is pleased to offer a special event designed to honor the tasteful art of fine wine and food pairing. This class will showcase wines from various regions in conjunction with exceptional epicurean offerings skillfully produced by Scott Youkilis, co-owner and executive chef at Maverick. Join us as Mike Pierce, co-owner and Wine Director at Maverick, discusses winemaking regions and styles while presenting some special wines paired with Chef Scott’s dishes. Guests will enjoy full portions of every dish with its accompanying wine. Additionally, Scott and Mike will explore the reason certain ingredients in each recipe were chosen as a complement to a particular wine. Join us for this evening featuring the next generation of talent in the world of food and wine, uniquely American in style.
