Inspired by James Joyce's 'A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man,' Frances McCormick curates an exhibition of nine artists whose work show a commitment to revealing certain aspects of silence, exile or cunning that require a rare conviction and an intimate knowledge of their subject.
