To Saturday, August 28 2010
10:00am - 1:00pm Wednesday, Thursday Friday Saturday - week 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 every month
In response to public demand the spring and summer tour schedules expand to accommodate visitors to di Rosa and its unique and significant collection of Northern California art. The art ranges from oversized, colorful ceramic figures by Viola Frey to Paul Kos’ monumental video installation inspired by Chartres Cathedral. You’ll find art by such Bay Area luminaries as Robert Arneson, Joan Brown, Mark di Suvero, Manuel Neri, and William Wiley throughout the grounds and in the galleries.
Spring and summer visitor offerings include Art & Meadow Tours and an expanded schedule of Discovery Tours:
Two-hour Discovery Tours are now offered twice daily, Wednesday through Friday. Tours include the Main Gallery, which exhibits major works from the permanent collection, and the historic di Rosa stone residence with its jaw-dropping floor-to-ceiling art display. Outdoor art is on view throughout the property and the beautiful sculpture meadow.  Prepare to see the di Rosa peacocks, extensive flower gardens and the exquisite 35-acre Winery Lake.
Cost $15
