Ravenswood Winery, one of California's leading producers of old-vine Zinfandel and a host of other wines, is holding a second annual reunion of consumers who have had our bold, stylized and now famous Ravenswood logo tattooed somewhere on their bodies!
Since its creation more than 30 years ago, our logo, designed by celebrated Berkeley artist, David Lance Goines, has become an iconic symbol of the winery and wines. A surprising number of Ravenswood aficionados, and lovers of the highly naturalistic image alike, have demonstarted their enthusiasm in the extreme, by permanently tattooing the logo on their bodies!
Activities will include: mingling and comparing of tattoos, a contest with prizes for the winner of the "best tattoo of the day", on site air brushing of temporary tattoos for fun, appetizers, noshing and a special tasting flight of select Ravenswood Sing Vineyard Designate Zinfandels.
$15 (tasting fee waived for all bearers of permanent Ravenswood tattoos)
