An experiential and interactive exhibition that looks at the inspirations, processes, toys and tools that world-renowned kinetic and constructivist sculptor Fletcher Benton uses to create his monumental public sculptures. The show provides a rare opportunity to see the studio–a typically private space–through the artist's eyes.
Living Walls: A Collaborative Installation–In conjunction with the Fletcher Benton exhibition, collaborative artists Kurt Kemp and Mark Perlman, both professors of art at Sonoma State University, will construct two walls comprised of sixty 12"x12" works on paper. The piece includes works created in the studio as well as in the Museum during the course of the show.
