Bungalow at Sonoma's Historic Plaza! - Includes Wine Tasting Passport

We stay in a good amount of Airbnb's and Hunt's Sonoma bungalow was one of the best. Location could not be beat: cute neighborhood with a 5 min (or less) walk to amazing restaurants and wine tasting rooms and shops and pubs and a "speak-easy" with live music. The house was super-cute, with beautiful furniture, and comfortable beds, as well as a great wrap-around front porch and a very cute side yard with a babbling fountain. Parking was excellent, getting in could not have gone better, and Hunt was very helpful with information, but left us alone our entire stay, which we appreciate. On our next trip to Sonoma I would not even look for another location - we would go back in a heartbeat. 10 out of 10.

Perfect location that our family used while in town for a wedding. Walkable to numerous restaurants and shops. Parking for 2 cars with very detailed description on location. Clean house with excellent upkeep. Extremely responsive. Accommodated late check out. Highly recommend.

Great home in the heart of Sonoma. It was comfortable, well equipped and couldn’t have been at a better location. There was also plenty of patio and outdoor space to enjoy your coffee or a bottle of wine with others. Would stay there again!

Awesome spot - the front porch rules!

We stayed at Bungalow Sonoma with our adult children and had a marvelous visit. It’s a great gathering place with wonderful indoor and outdoor sitting areas to enjoy meals and special time with family.

My family and I stayed here while attending a wedding in Sonoma. The house has stunning original details and is extremely well-maintained. The bathrooms are updated in the classic style and very clean, and overall the space was extremely comfortable and perfect for a family traveling with two small children as well. There are interior doors that can separate the kitchen, middle bedroom & bathroom and living room, which is perfect for napping toddlers during the day. A major highlight is being within a block of Sonoma square. The benefit of having shops, tasting rooms and restaurants (and multiple playgrounds!) within walking distance was perfect. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We had a great time at the bungalow. It was even more conveniently located than we had thought, the entire space was immaculate, and the kitchen was so well-stocked. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, and hope to visit again!

This was a wonderful find in Sonoma. Excellent location, walking distance to everything with two parking spots which was super handy. Very well appointed and the kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to cook. The house was very comfortable for 6 guests and clean. Hunt was communicative leading up to the stay and very responsive while we were there.

Amazing location!

This house has the best location! It was so convenient to everything. It was cozy and perfect for our girls’ getaway weekend. They have a great yard set up with a light-up solar umbrella to sit outside in the evening. As it’s an older house, sound travels at night and in the morning, so if you’re a light sleeper and staying with a large group, you may need earplugs. It’s worth it because the house is great and exactly as advertised.

What a beautiful bungalow in the heart of downtown. We enjoyed walks and hikes around town and front porch and side seating areas where we could enjoy the California weather. The house was filled with character and excellent upgrades. Definitely recommend!

Amazing location! We parked our car on arrival and then never used it till it was time to leave. Amazing dinners - Valley Bar & Bottle, Tasca Tasca, and The Girl & The Fig. All within a block. Rented bikes ride to hiking and wineries. Definitely love to stay again.

The Sonoma Bungalow is everything the pictures promise and so much more. The house was immaculate and cool all day long. The kitchen and laundry room provided everything we could think of needing during our stay. The plaza was only steps away. You could stay for weeks and never eat at the same place twice (though you'd definitely want to). The back patio was my favorite spot though my travel companions preferred the front porch. Hunt offered great suggestions for biking trails at Sonoma adventures. This was exactly the getaway we needed and can only hope the bungalow will be available next time I want to visit!

It was a great location near the square and we enjoyed the lively front porch. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint was when we arrived the house had a musty smell. We purchased air fresheners and that helped. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. I would rent this again.

Family of 6 adults and we were very comfortable. The location was incredible - can't be beat! Parking was ample and we appreciated the back parking off the house - very secure. The front room (twin beds) was comfortable, but beware of the street noise (earplugs were helpful)! Our favorite part of the house was the front porch - we enjoyed many glasses of wine and the glorious weather! I will definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed the bungalow Sonoma- I would rate it a 10 if I could! The home is so charming and comfortable, inside and out. It was spacious enough for my husband and me, three adult children, daughter in law and 1 year old grand baby. The doors between rooms effectively kept sleeping adults separated from a baby and visa versa. The house is a one minute walk from the square- with our favorite restaurant (girl and the fig), swing sets and the farmers market. And the manager was very responsive when we needed an extra towel. We will be back!

Such a great little house! Absolutely adorable, perfectly appointed and decorated beautifully. We cooked meals in the kitchen, enjoyed wine on the front porch and loved being so close to the square. The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable for the 4 of us. Communication with the property manager was great and the book of information at the house was so helpful. I loved everything about this property! The house had everything we needed and is beautiful. It is located super close to the main square in Sonoma where one day I enjoyed a quick late-afternoon dash through the wonderful little shops I don't have where I live and then another evening I went to enjoy their great farmers market and also a lovely dinner another time. We were only there 3 nights, hoping to spend some time doing wine-tastings before our son's wedding near Carmel. I wish we could have stayed longer. The California light is amazing. The mature plantings are lovely. There is a fair amount of traffic on the street but it did not seem intrusive and the nights were amazingly quiet. All in all, a great place to stay.

The passports provided offering discounts to tastings downtown were a great perk and it seemed everyone was familiar with "The Bungalow" and what a great place it is to stay. Very much enjoyed our time at the Bungalow. Very comfortable, from beds to front porch to dining. Kitchen works well. Location is terrific. Traffic on Spain street can be a bit noisy, but the town pretty much goes to sleep by 10 PM, so not a problem. Porch provided space for a bit of reading and comfortable conversation, even after the hottest days. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for easy, walkable access to many restaurants, activities and tasting rooms and also was a short drive to Sonoma County wineries. The size was also perfect for two couples without feeling crowded, and the wrap around porch was perfect for relaxing mornings and evenings taking it all in!

We were in town for a family wedding and had a great time in this lovely bungalow! It is well equipped with coffee and a blender, great location, beds, sheets and pillows were lovely. We loved the front porch or back patio for morning coffee, and it also came with 4 complimentary wine tasting passes that could be used at many wineries! Since most wineries charge $15-$20 per person now, this was quite a savings for us! All around great experience, and it's so nice to walk to wine tasting on the square and dinner out! We will be back!

Just returned from a girl's week at this wonderful bungalow! Everything was perfect. The attention to detail the owner provides, with beautiful bathroom and kitchen finishes, loved all the woodwork and the furnishings. Close enough to walk to the square in Sonoma, sit on the porch sipping wine, gathering around the dining room table and sleeping in the comfy beds. Could not have asked for more. We will be back!

"A Must Stay in Wine Country!"

Wow. Just finished staying a week at Bungalow with our family, and could have not been more perfect. Felt like being at home, even better. The home was exceptional. Every little detail was thought of, from cooling bags and frozen ice packs, to laundry detergent & bathroom needs, to guides of the area to books and mags to read. We did not cook in....our choice, but kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. Instructions provided in advance were complete and easy to understand, as were guides upon arrival in the kitchen. Superbly clean, quiet and one block from the Sonoma town square. Walking distance to Whole Foods and many great restaurants. Price reasonable. Thanks Bryon for a wonderful experience!! Will definitely return to this property & recommend to our friends.

This was a great place to stay. We had all the amenities of your own home. We were close to everything: the town square, restaurants, shops, etc. Loved Sonoma and this Bungalow was a great place to rest at night!

Ideal for our family of five, this bungalow was perfect! Location is prime, and it was ideal for walking to every shop, restaurant, and Sonoma square activities. Wrap around porch was my personal favorite, but kitchen, living space and rooms were all comfortable, clean, and functional! Thank you for making our trip to Sonoma so pleasant.

Older home in beautiful condition and updated with air conditioning and other modern conveniences, all only a few steps from Sonoma Square. We feel lucky we could stay in such a great cozy house. We had two adults and three kids stay here and felt like we had plenty of room. The two bathrooms helped too. We hope to return for another stay.

You couldn't ask for more from a vacation rental, from the cozy front porch, to the stocked kitchen pantry, to the comfy beds all within a block of the Square. It was spotlessly clean, extremely organized and reasonably priced. I think this house could be better equipped than my own. There was spray starch with the iron and ironing board! Tuesday night Farmer's Market is a must. Excellent restaurants and wine tasting on every corner. The only downside is that this place books up so plan ahead. You'll be happy you did. I've already planned another stay!

I grew up in Sonoma but only get a chance to visit every few years. Bungalow Sonoma was the perfect place to stay with my family. So close to downtown. Kid friendly. Great outside area. Clean. Easy. We loved it and look forward to booking it again.

The Sonoma Bungalow was a Fantastic place to enjoy our annual girlfriends yearly reunion. The house was clean, equipped with everything we needed and decorated with a comfortable style.. The wraparound front porch was perfect for our morning coffee and evening cocktail. Location was great. We could walk to restaurants, shops, wine tastings shops on the square in a minute. We would highly recommend staying here.

Our group had a wonderful stay at this Sonoma home. The wi-fi worked great for those of us needing to do a little work, parking was easy, and once arriving we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go! We spent time on the front porch, living room and dining room, and each was so comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen/baths were very well appointed, even having surplus TP, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel! We would definitely recommend this location and hope to come back to visit again soon.

When the only real complaint we had was that one on the ladies in our group had trouble finding the full length mirror that says a lot. The on-line pictures do not do justIce to how nicely appointed the bungalow is furnished. For the two couples in our party there was more than enough space and the gas grill came in handy for grilling seafood one night. The house is located 1/2 block from the Square in downtown Sonoma with it''s shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from Whole Foods. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to explore the Sonoma region.

Our family of 4 stayed here and couldn't be happier. The location was walking distance to Sonoma Square so we had dinner in a different restaurant each night, with wine, and could easily walk home. Bungalow Sonoma is a terrific home base from which to explore wine country and the city of Sonoma. It is located a 1/2 block off of the main square and steps from restaurants, shops, tasting rooms as well as hiking trails with great views! The home is charming and comfortable, as are the beds. Linens and towels are great quality and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking if you want to dine in. The living room and front bedroom (with two twin beds) are located at the front of the house so do encounter some street noise - mostly cars. The owner has kindly provided a white noise machine to dampen sound in the bedroom. We'd definitely recommend this vacation rental home!

Our stay in the Bungalow Sonoma was lovely, everything was perfect from the location, the decor, the ammenities (and even the weather). Every detail in the property is very well thought out; it has been impeccably restored and updated to exacting detail, it feels warm and welcoming from the moment of entry. There are plenty of cozy bed linens, ample storage (closets, hangers, etc.), a well stocked kitchen and even the tiny details like cotton swabs and pads are available for guests. Each time we approached the Bungalow our party would comment on how adorable it is, inside and out. I presents itself as tidy and clean and very inviting. This lovely home helped to make our memories of Sonoma County pleasurable and certainly a place we will look forward to returning to again.

"Wonderful Visit to Sonoma"

Our family had a lovely stay in the Bungalow in Sonoma. It so convenient to downtown and all the restaurants and pubs. There was note book on the kitchen counter, with recommended restaurants and wineries. The Bungalow has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a living room and a formal dining room. It was clean and well maintained. We had a slight issue with the back door lock, but the offsite manager came by and fixed the lock within a few hours. If I had to make any recommendations would be a larger tv. The only tv in the house is a 32 inch in the living room. With football season, it would of been nice to have larger tv hanging on the wall. In addition, more mirrors, perhaps behind the bedroom doors. Also, a closet in the master bedroom would of been nice. We hung our clothes up on the back porch. Overall, it was a great house and the location was fabulous.

We had 5 people stay in this house which is right off the square and had plenty of room. Even with the nearness to the square, we had no noise issues. Great little patio outside for your evenings to relax with a glass of wine. Nice kitchen with all the amenities you need. Bedrooms and bathrooms in good, clean condition but maybe could have used a little more storage space for clothes.

"Great Bungalow, Great Location!!!"

Our family of four adults and a toddler spent a few amazing days at Bungalow Sonoma. The house was clean and well stocked to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. It is located just a 1/2 black from Sonoma Plaza, which was great for strolling around to shop or dine at very good restaurants. The pictures of the bungalow are very accurate. We would definitely return.

Debated between Napa and Sonoma to stay for location and discovered we made the correct decision to stay 1/2 block from downtown Sonoma for 4 nights! Bungalow Sonoma even made the decision more enjoyable! Multiple setting areas outside were wonderful in mornings and evenings! Home was very comfortable and really well laid out! We truly enjoyed every moment more because we had a base to come back to every day that was so enjoyable! Walked to multiple restaurants in the area that were excellent, location, location, location!

We had a fabulous stay at the Bungalow for our reunion of 4 college friends. The house is gorgeous, very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is perfect--one block from the Plaza, numerous good restaurants, and the Farmers Market on Tuesday nights. Lots of areas to hang out in--living room, front porch, back patio. Beds were comfy. We also appreciated the passports for wine-tasting. Thanks for also arranging good weather while we were there! We all would come again.

This house was perfect for our group of three couples in our late 20s. House is very charming- classic bungalow style house with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen was extremely well stocked in terms of pans, plates, coffee, and basic cooking supplies (olive oil, vinegar, sugar etc). Location is awesome- one block off Sonoma Plaza so within walking distance of restaurants, bars, Whole Foods etc. So glad we found this gem!

This property exceeded our expectations. Clean and comfortable with the most convenient location. Walk to all the restaurants, wine tastings rooms, quaint shops and the Plaza. So nice to be able to walk around before and after dinner. The owners have taken care to think of everything. The home comes well stocked with supplies, ample parking and lots of local information. There's a lovely front porch to read or enjoy your morning coffee and private backyard patio with grill. They also left a wine passbook that saves you money on our wine tour. Try to get to the Tuesday evening Farmer's Market at the Plaza. Roche winery has a tasting room practically across the street. These pictures do not lie. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy some time in Sonoma.

The location is perfect which is about one block off the town square but traffic can be noisy at times. This was a trip for our family to celebrate our son's graduation from graduate school. Perfectly situated right off the Plaza stumbling distance from tasting rooms and fine dining. Our family of four really enjoyed the comfortable and well equipped bungalow. We grilled out one night and they had everything needed including some spices etc. We were able to walk to Whole Foods and a bike rental store. Property managers made it easy and were good with communications. Will definitely stay again.

"Jeff & Heather’s Wedding Weekend"

A wonderful bungalow in the heart of Sonoma. We loved our time at the bungalow and we were able to house of family and host friends and other family that made the trip to Sonoma for the wedding. Everything is perfect, location, clean as could be, the furniture was all up to date and the appliances all working. The only compliant was that there is no closet in the master bedroom and no clothes rack, other than a wall unit. I suggest you put one in the very large utility room off the bedroom and kitchen. The porch was the center of our hosting and everyone who was at the house agreed it was ideal for our hosting activities. We just loved it and would come back during our next visit to the wine country. Very cost effective to house the 5 immediate family members.
