Sonoma, CA (November 8, 2018) – The Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) is celebrating 22 years of film, food, wine, and spirits Wednesday, March 27 to Sunday, March 31, 2019 and it’s never too early to plan ahead. The five-day cinematic extravaganza takes place in the heart of Northern California's Wine Country and will feature more than 100 hand-selected films including independent features, documentaries, world cinema and short films. All films are shown at intimate venues within walking distance of Sonoma's historic plaza.

MovieMaker Magazine selected SIFF as one of the world’s Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals.

Returning this year is the very popular ‘Chefs and Shorts’ Dinner. The dinner will bring highly regarded culinary luminaries together for an extraordinary five-course dinner inspired by short food films from around the world. The best way to guarantee entry to this unique culinary experience is to purchase a Patron Pass. This feature sold-out quickly last year.

“Enjoy an entirely walkable festival in and around historic Sonoma Plaza as you experience the best in indie films while sipping and savoring delicious wines and local culinary treats,” says SIFF Executive Director Kevin McNeely

The Sonoma International Film Festival could not continuously promote independent film and filmmakers from around the world without their wonderful sponsors who include but are not limited to: Manitou Fund, Sonoma Magazine, Wells Fargo, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Ravenswood Winery, Arrowood, Bank of Marin, California Delicious, Dolby, Mead Clark Lumber Company, Sonoma Market, Sonoma Raceway, Sophienwald, Stor-It-All, Thinoptics, Wild Fire Web, Celebrity Cruises, Sonoma Brands and Spritz.
