Freedoms Found: Writers Speak to the Art of Raymond Saunders

  • October 16, 2022
  • 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Poet and author Caroline Mar has assembled an outstanding line-up of Bay Area writers all representing the diverse experiences of our region—each composing an original work inspired by Oakland-based Raymond Saunders. The featured poets and writers performing will be Mar, Tongo Eisen-Martin, poet laureate of San Francisco, Tijanna O. Eaton, and Mildred Thompson. In keeping with SVMA’s poetry tradition, each writer will be paired with a local wine.
