The Sonoma Valley Authors Festival is a 3-day weekend lecture series that brings people together to hear authors from a variety of literary genres. Speakers discuss advances being made in science, technology, and medicine, as well as current issues in a “TED-talk” style format.
The Festival attracts people who are committed to lifelong learning; many are at a stage in life where experiences are of more value than things and they enjoy vacations with a purpose. This year’s Festival takes place from August 27-29, 2021 at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn.
“The Sonoma Valley Authors Festival has already become an important spot on the literary and cultural landscape. With a lineup of speakers that any event would envy, with engaged and intelligent audiences and with its spectacular setting, this is an event to say ‘yes’ to.” - David Brooks
“Positioned at the intersection of wine and literature, the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival offers eye, heart and mind-opening opportunities, all the while striking just the right blend of seriousness and hilarity.” Billy Collins, Two-time U.S. Poet Laureate
