Catch a ride on the SugarShuttle to thru-hike from Sugarloaf to Hood Mountain Regional Park's Los Alamos Rd parking lot. The Shuttle departs every-other-hour from Sugarloaf (first) to Los Alamos Rd (NOT Pythian Road).
Check our schedule (https://sugarloafpark.org/events/sugar-shuttle-2020/) for departure / arrival times (summer hours are 8AM-12PM).
Make a reservation, ride to the trail’s other end, hike back to your vehicle, or vice-versa! You will cross some of Sonoma County’s most important creeks–including critical steelhead habitat. This 7.5-mile one-way hike includes 2,000 feet of climbing, and takes ~4-5 hours. Bring sunscreen, snacks, and lots of water.
Suggested donation: $10/rider. Shuttle operated by Team Sugarloaf in partnership with Sonoma County Regional Parks and Jack London Park Partners. Dogs are not allowed in the shuttle or in State Parks trails.
