Specific media and/or techniques will be presented to give teens the opportunity to create a piece of art.
Each month a different project idea is introduced for participants wanting to learn a new technique or seeking a starting place for inspiration. Teens can also work on their own projects with Art Escape instructors as consultants.
Participants learn the art-making process and skills that are transferable to other life situations: flexibility, perseverance, using constructive feedback, time management, and that "happy accidents" can result in unforeseen avenues.
Teen Art Lounge is scheduled twice monthly from August 2019 through August 2020 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.
The projects to be presented this week are Mini Nepal-inspired lanterns and Polymer Clay Sculpting!
Come hang out with friends, laugh and create art; food is included! (Thanks to THE CLUB's Keystone group!)
