This historical lecture by Ida Rae Egli will focus on women of color in early California.

Ida Rae Egli teaches English and Creative Writing and was formerly Department Chair of the Santa Rosa Junior College English Department.

She has edited two books, No Rooms of Their Own: Women Writers of Early California and Women of the Gold Rush: Frances Fuller Victor and the New Penelope.
