Celebrate 200 Years of Wine with the Sonoma Valley Scavenger Hunt

Sonoma Valley's wine industry is celebrating it's 200th harvest — and you’re invited to celebrate with a one-of-a-kind summer adventure through wine country! The Sonoma Valley 200th Harvest Scavenger Hunt is a fun, interactive way to explore the region's most iconic landmarks, wineries, and historic gems.

How It Works:

From now through July 31st, visit any 6 out of 12 designated scavenger hunt locations across Sonoma Valley. At each stop, snap a photo of yourself or your group — whether it's alongside General Vallejo in the historic plaza or sipping sparkling wine at Gloria Ferrer.

Post your six photos on Instagram or Facebook, tagging @SonomaValleyWine and @Sonoma_Valley and using the hashtag #SonomaValleyHunt. Not on social media? No problem! Just bring your photos to the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau at 453 1st Street East to show them in person.

What’s in It for You?

Every participant who completes the hunt will receive a prize at the Visitors Bureau — and even better, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the Grand Tasting at Vintage Festival Weekend, taking place on Saturday, September 27th.

This scavenger hunt is more than just a contest — it’s a journey through the heart and history of Sonoma Valley. From the oldest wineries in California to iconic symbols like the Valley’s commemorative 200th-anniversary flags, you’ll uncover the roots of wine country, one stop at a time.
