Sonoma Valley Farms & Ranches

The term "farm-to-table" is not new to Sonoma Valley. In fact, it has been the Sonoma way of life for decades. When  "California cuisine" was being introduced by the likes of Alice Waters at Chez Panisse in Berkeley and John Ash in Sonoma County, products from Sonoma Valley farms and producers were named on menus, such as Laura Chenel's chevre. The farms and ranches around Sonoma Valley produce vegetables, cheese, strawberries, blueberries, apples, olives, beef, lamb and poultry. Plus many of the vineyards - themselves farms for grapes - have culinary gardens for their kitchens.

Come explore the some of the family farms of Sonoma Valley - who wouldn't want a Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir paired with grilled veggies picked fresh this morning? Or a green salad tossed with local olive oil with a glass of crisp Chardonnay?
