05/16/26: Kick off the growing season at the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance’s Western Reserve Celebration! Dress the part and enjoy live music, signature cocktails, and a ranch-style dinner featuring rare, reserve wines on one of Sonoma’s most exclusive properties.

06/05/26: Point your eyes to the sky for a rare viewing of the planet Venus at the Robert Ferguson Observatory. This awe-inspiration night features an accessible presentation to teach you more about the planet as well as its deep cultural and historical significance.
06/06/26-06/28/26: What would a summer in Sonoma be without Broadway Under the Stars? Enjoy Transcendence Theatre’s newest show, “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg: The Life & Times of the Temptations” at downtown Sonoma’s Field of Dreams for a night of incredible performances.
06/14/26: Sonoma Valley Pride Festival on the Plaza returns to Sonoma! Gather on the Sonoma Plaza lawn for a vibrant open-air celebration of live performances, local wines, food, and curated queer and ally vendors. It's a day made to be shared—bring everyone you love.
06-26/26-06/28/26: Sonoma Valley becomes the ultimate racing destination once again as NASCAR makes their annual trip to the Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. Find out why fans from all over the country come to camp out for this annual event.
JULY
07/10/26-07/12/26: Broadway Under the Stars does it again with, “Radio Recall: the Soundtrack of Your Life,” a high-energy performance celebrating 60 years of the songs that shaped our lives, from Queen to Coldplay, The Beatles to Tina Turner. On Sonoma’s beautiful Field of Dreams.
07/11/26: Music and wine lovers unite at Cline's Country Bluegrass Festival. Spend a day listening to some of the region’s top bluegrass performers, with great access to local makers, food trucks and a great selection of wine and beer (of course). Relaxing, fun and family-friendly!
07/04/26: Celebrate America's 250th birthday at the biggest little 4th of July you've ever seen. Parade at 10 a.m., followed by hot dogs, burgers, wine, and beer—sponsored by the Sonoma Valley Fire Department. Then rest up: at sundown, the Fire Department lights up the sky.
07/16/26-07/26/26: Featuring vintage classical music instruments, The Valley of the Moon Music Festival dazzles the summer calendar—this year with “Postcards from Dvořák”—with each performance highlighting a place and moment in his life. At the Hanna Center.
07/17/26-07/19/26: The Sonoma Raceway lights up again—this time for the DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals! Get your front-row seat to see Antron Brown, Ron Capps, Tony Stewart and more as they push the limits to be quicker and faster than ever before.
07/17/26-07/19/26: For 15 years, Gay Wine Weekend has been a Sonoma summer highlight. This anniversary weekend features the Twilight T-Dance, hosted for the first time at Cornerstone Sonoma, inviting guests to dance under the stars while enjoying wines from the region.
AUGUST
08/01/26: Bring the kids to Robert Ferguson Observatory’s Family Day for hands-on solar system exploration! Designed for kids 12 and under, this outdoor program features interactive activities about planets and the Sun. Advanced tickets required; limited attendance. Bring sun protection, water, and a picnic lunch.
08/13/26-08/30/26: Broadway Under the Stars hits it out of (and in) the park with “Mamma Mia!” in Sonoma’s Field of Dreams. With its large cast, explosive dance numbers, nonstop humor, and irresistible score, the show promises the most unforgettable performance in Transcendence Theatre history.
