Sonoma Valley has been a wellness destination for eons. Home to active thermal springs, the valley has been a natural spa since the time of the native Wapo, Pomo and Miwok peoples. When the 1906 earthquake shifted the tectonics of the landscape, some of the thermal springs closed up, but you can still experience them at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. But really, wellness has always been a way of life for most Sonomans; we take lifestyle and balance here very seriously. When we think of wellness, we believe it’s important to nourish mind, body and spirit.

We designed this three-day itinerary to showcase the most iconic wellness experiences you can have here in the valley, but there are tons of great options to choose from beyond those listed here. To maximize your enjoyment, consider bookending your itinerary with additional time to include a private day-long retreat at Euphoria Retreats, tastings, culinary tours, and more. While the movement component of wellness tends to favor the able-bodied, many of the valley’s parks and facilities are also accessible by wheelchair.
